Dieticians work with many people with different problems. They help people change eating habits to ensure their health is as it should be.
When I was younger I was teased at school for being obese, I had always suffered with my weight and eating habits. It was not until I began at college that I made the decision to lose weight drastically. I joined the college gym and had advice from those that worked in the gym for healthy eating. In my first year of college (10 months) I had managed 5.5 stone, and had never felt better. I knew I still had a long way to go but I knew now the hard work paid off. In my second year of college I decided this was something that I wanted to help others with as I knew personally what the struggles could be with weight issues. I went on to study human nutrition at university.
